A useful urea price comparison needs the product form, location, period and unit. This report separates prilled and granular bulk assessments, October and front-month references, and two separate freight tables. The selected figures below are dated 15 October 2026; the Brazil reference is the October column, not the front month.
Dated market references, not live prices, stock availability or supply offers. Different regions, grades and delivery bases are not a single global price.

How to compare global urea prices
Compare the same product form and assessment
Middle East granular all-netback assessments span USD 312–450/t in the physical bulk table. Middle East prilled urea is USD 420–440/t in its separate table. A netback range and a prilled assessment are not interchangeable; the difference alone does not establish a quality premium or an available transaction price.
Do not mix physical, October and front-month figures
The October granular reference for Brazil is USD 483/t CFR, while the front-month column is USD 495/t. Read each with its own heading. The physical granular table is a separate assessment set, not a replacement for the October/front-month table. Published arrows show the published direction, not a forecast.
Check units before adding freight
USD/t is per metric tonne; USD/st is per short ton, and EUR/t uses a different currency. Freight rows also retain their table-specific cargo-size headings. Do not silently reinterpret the cargo-size values. A CFR price already includes freight; an FOB-plus-freight comparison requires compatible dates, ports and cargo assumptions.
Market report date: 15 October 2026. Editorial guide reviewed: 19 October 2026. The editorial review does not update the price assessments.
The answer depends on form, market and period. On 15 October 2026 the Middle East granular all-netback range is USD 312–450/t FOB and the prilled bulk range is USD 420–440/t FOB. Brazil's October granular reference is USD 483/t CFR. These are not one comparable global price or live supply quotations.
Why do granular and prilled urea have separate tables?
They are different product forms and the assessments can cover different markets and specifications. Compare like-for-like form, location, delivery basis, report date and assessment period rather than selecting the lowest number across both tables.
Does the report show today's executable urea price?
No. The displayed report is dated 15 October 2026. Historical references and published changes help readers compare markets, but they do not confirm current stock, availability, supply capability or a future price.
