The product is efficacious against piercing-sucking mouthparts and rasping-mouthparts insects, and can be used to control some Coleoptera, Diptera, Lepidoptera insects.

Target pests include Aphids, Rice planthoppers, Rice leafhoppers, Rice Thrips, Whiteflies, Psyllids, and Leafminers, etc.

Characteristic

The product is a high effective systemic, broad-spectrum neonicotinoid insecticide. It works by interfering with the nervous system, resulting in the insect's paralysis, and eventually death. It is effective in multiple roles such as contact poisoning, stomach poisoning and systemic activity. It is particularly fit for seed treatment and soil treatment, with its excellent systemic activity. Fast efficacy makes high controlling effect 1 day after the application of the product, long effective period of 25 days. Imidacloprid is notable for its relatively low toxicity, low residue, non-cross-resistance, safety to human being, livestock, plants and natural enemies.
