Di-Ammonium phosphate, also known as Ammonium hydrogen phosphate Dibasic (NH4)2HPO4, is an inorganic salt.
It is a colorless, transparent monoclinic crystal or white powder that is soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol.
Applications
① Fertilizer use:
It is a high-concentration quick-acting fertilizer, with less solid content after dissolution, and is suitable for various crops and soils, especially for crops that like nitrogen and need phosphorus. It is a high-quality basic raw material for preparing ternary compound fertilizer of N, P and K.
② Application of flame retardant: it is used as a fire retardant for wood, paper and fabric, and also as an additive for fire retardant coatings.
③Food industry: used as starter, nutrient, etc.
