Applications

Organic Synthesis. N-Butyl Methacrylate is used in the preparation of electron microscopic embedding media, adhesives for plastics and optical glass, emulsifiers for textiles, leather shoes and papermaking, solvents for paints and petroleum additives.Coatings, paints, adhesives, water repellents, additives for adjusting the viscosity of lubricating oil, etc. can be prepared by emulsion polymerization.

N-Butyl Methacrylate is used as a soft monomer for the manufacture of acrylate solvent-based and emulsion-based adhesives.
