Sulfamic acid, also known by Cas No 5329-14-6, is an inorganic solid acid where a hydroxyl group of sulfuric acid is replaced by an amino group.

Its chemical formula is NH2SO3H with a molecular weight of 97.09.

Typically appearing as white, odorless orthorhombic square sheet crystals, it has a relative density of 2.126 and a melting point of 205 °C.

Sulfamic acid is soluble in water and liquid ammonia.

In its solid form, it is non-hygroscopic and relatively stable when kept dry without water contact.
