Vinyl toluene is an environmentally friendly solvent that can replace styrene, improve environmental protection issues, reduce volatile organic compounds (VOC) volatilization, and can be used in resins and coatings.
Commercial vinyl toluene is a mixture of para and meta isomers (35:65).
It is easy to polymerize and can also be copolymerized with other monomers.

Resin industry
It is used to replace styrene. It is a low-toxic and low-volatility monomer with similar properties to styrene. It is used to prepare resins, plastics, rubber and coatings, etc., and can improve the performance of resins. Widely used in resin coatings, composite materials, vinyl resins and VPI insulating impregnating varnishes
