D-Panthenol (provitamin B5) is a clear, colorless to slightly yellow viscous liquid.
It is slightly hygroscopic.
D-panthenol is an active ingredient and provitamin, a provitamin of D-pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), the gold standard moisturizer for skin and hair care.
D-Panthenol (or D-Panthenol 75L) is the form most suitable for biological or physiological activities, such as wound healing and soothing, stimulation of epithelialization, etc.
Beneficial for very dry, chapped and rough skin.
Applications
D-panthenol is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries.
In the cosmetic industry: the care effect on the skin is manifested as a deeply penetrating moisturizing agent, which stimulates the growth of epithelial cells, promotes wound healing, and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
