Acrylic acid is an organic basic chemical, a transparent liquid with a pungent odor, miscible with water, and soluble in ethanol and ether.

It has active chemical properties and is easy to polymerize in the air.

It can be reduced to propionic acid by hydrogenation, and can be added to hydrogen chloride to generate 2-chloropropionic acid.

It is mainly used for the preparation of acrylic resin.

Polyacrylate can be used to use acrylic acid as raw material to produce a variety of polyacrylate products. Used as coagulant, water treatment agent, dispersant, thickener, food preservative, acid and alkali resistant desiccant, softener and other polymer additives.
